Another fun holiday club has now passed and what fun it was. As usual we ran two different clubs to suit the needs of our young people which included an onsite project and our adult sub-group. Here is what we got up to!
Onsite Holiday Club
The rain fell but our spirits were not dampened as we had fun den building, playing together, cooking party snacks and finishing the week with a fun disco. We made use of the facilities at TOPCATS. Our onsite sensory room provided our young people with a quiet and relaxing space to play and our new music room allowed us to have lots of noisy play on the drums, keyboards and karioke machine! Our adapted kitchen made baking a piece of cake for everyone (and what a lovely cake it was too!) and a fun disco ended the week (not forgetting a visit from Arnie the tortoise).
Adult Sub Group
Our adults benefited from our very supportive partnerships this holiday. The week started with a visit to the cinema to watch Alice Through the Looking Glass, on Wednesday we had fun joining in with the dancing at The Venue and we enjoyed making party snacks on Thursday and then had fun at the Seagull Theatre dancing and doing drama activities on the stage (lighting provided by our young people of course!). We then joined in with the disco. A massive thank you to all of those who support us which enables us to provide such fun activities.
Don’t forget to send back your booking forms for the summer holidays. Places are filling fast and you will need your forms to be returned to us by the 20th of June.
Bring on summer!
