After two years we can finally say it….SOFT PLAY HAS LANDED! Our Bespoke and NEW SOFT PLAY area has been successfully installed and we are all loving it! It is a bright, new and welcoming space for our building and we know it will provide fun activities for our young people for many years to come. Our young people are enjoying playing in the ball pit, riding on the slide and the two rocker toys available!
On Friday 17th March we held our GRAND OPENING of the area and we were pleased to welcome Ex-Norwich City Footballer Cedric Anselin in opening the area. We enjoyed canapés, mocktails and hearing about how TOPCATS is continuing to move forward in all of our projects.
We were joined by the Mayor, Local Councillors and by our Sponsors alongside our team and young people and their families. The Lowestoft Journal came to our event too, so keep an eye out in the local press for their review of the evening!
We were also DELIGHTED to open our NEW SKILL ZONE which has been kindly re-decorated by THE PRINCES TRUST! We have new flooring, new furniture and two new spaces including a reading snug and a pamper and beauty section. Thank you to all of the hardworking volunteers who came in for TWO WEEKS to help us. You are such a massive part of our mission to move on to bigger and brighter pastures.
We would like to thank all of the people who have kindly donated money and time to the development of our SOFT PLAY area. Whether it is 10p or £100 EVERYTHING HELPS! We also appreciate the time and energy people have invested in this as well. From attending and organising events to spreading the word about what we are achieving.
