We had so many WONDERFUL events going on at TOPCATS and within our local community!
We held a Quiz Night at TOPCATS HQ on the 7th August, hosted by our Head Quiz Master, Vanessa! We had 7 teams come together to test their general knowledge, have a whole load of fun and raise some money at the same time! Thank you Vanessa and Sara for putting the evening together!
On Sunday 9th August, the TOPCATS Summer Fayre made a return for 2026! TOPCATS HQ was opened to the public, not only to see all our amazing facilities but to join in all the fun and games set up on the day! TOPCATS stalls included; the chocolate tombola, 2nd hand book stall, bric-a-brac tombola, hook-a-duck, pick a lolly, ‘what’s in the sock?!’, a cornish raffle and the washing line game! It also saw the return of the Barrow of Booze Raffle!! TOPCATS also kept everyone going with home-baked refreshments on the day! We were joined by ‘Just Josh’ entertainment who hosted the day and kept everyone smiling with his Magic Show and balloon modelling. We had brilliant performances from The Lowestoft Signing Choir and The Phoenix Pipes and Drums. We were joined by Lamarti’s ice cream van providing frozen treats and the Mocktail Van with deliciously cool drinks on a super warm day! We had a variety of stall holders; Sea Glass jewellery and frames, 3D printed gadgets, home made bunting and crochet items, and a music stall! We were also incredibly lucky to be visited by The Autism Bus, giving visitors the chance to experience the challenges that people with autism face to help embed empathy, understanding and inclusive support. It was an AMAZING day and a brilliant total of over £1000 was raised!
We have also received another incredibly generous donation from The Tramway Hotel and Bar – we are so, so grateful for their continuous support, The Tramway Hotel do regular quiz nights and raffles, all in aid of TOPCATS Charity!
